Privacy Expense Tracker is built from the ground up to respect your financial privacy. We do not track, collect, sell, or analyze your financial data. Everything remains securely stored locally on your physical device.

1. Zero Telemetry & Tracking

We do not implement any third-party analytics trackers, crash reporting tools that collect personal details, or remote tracking databases. Your logins, transactions, categories, and settings never leave your phone.

2. Cryptographic Storage & Security

Your passcodes, biometric options, and premium unlock flags are handled natively by Android OS Keystore services and encrypted shared preference files (AES-256 SIV encryption) to ensure they cannot be snooped on by other apps on your device.

3. Google Drive Backup Safety

If you unlock and enable the optional Google Drive Cloud Backup feature, your database is uploaded directly to your own personal Google Drive's hidden appDataFolder scope.

  • Privacy Expense Tracker does not host any servers and cannot view this database.
  • Only your verified Google account has permission to read or modify these files.

4. Data Purging, CSV Exports & Control

You have full control over your data. You can export period-filtered CSV ledgers directly to your local file storage or import existing CSV backups without sending data to any intermediate server. At any time from the app settings, you can also permanently purge your remote Google Drive backup files.

5. Legal Disclaimer & Absence of Liability

The developer of this app assumes absolutely no legal responsibility or liability for the use, misuse, or abuse of the application by any user. By using this app, you agree that you are solely responsible for compliance with local and international financial regulations, and that the developer will not be held liable for any data loss, leakage, theft, or legal consequences arising from the utilization of the app under any circumstances.

6. Right to Modify Policies

The developer reserves the right to modify, update, add, or delete any part of this Privacy Policy at any time at its sole discretion without prior notice. Continued use of the application following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised policies.
